Email is a great way to stay connected with friends, family, and colleagues. Nowadays, we can access our email from practically any device and any place. But how exactly do you access webmail emails? This article will cover the four main ways to access webmail emails: logging in through the browser, setting up an email program on your computer or mobile device, using an app on your smartphone or tablet, and forwarding emails. We’ll also look at why accessing your email this way is beneficial and what precautions need to be taken when doing so. So let’s get started!
Logging in to Webmail

For the incoming mail server (IMAP) field, enter imap.yourwebmailprovider.com. For the outgoing mail server (SMTP) field, enter smtp.yourwebmailprovider.com. Your webmail provider should have this information readily available on their website; if not, contact customer support for assistance.
Next, select the type of encryption required by your webmail provider: SSL/TLS or STARTTLS. SSL/TLS is more common, but STARTTLS is becoming increasingly popular as well. If you’re not sure which to choose, check with your webmail provider or customer support team.
After that, you will need to set the port number for both incoming and outgoing servers. The default port numbers are 993 for IMAP with SSL/TLS and 465 for SMTP with SSL/TLS; however, your webmail provider may use different port numbers. Again, if you’re not sure, contact your webmail provider or customer support team.
Finally, click the “Save” or “Apply” button to finish setting up your webmail account. You should now be able to send and receive emails using your new account!

- Log into your account and click on the settings cog in the top right-hand corner.
- Select “Manage My Account” from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the “Email” tab.
- Scroll down to the “Forwarding” section and select the “Add Email Address” button.
- Enter the email address you wish to forward your emails to in the “New Email Address” field and click on the “Save Changes” button.
- You will be taken back to the “Email” tab where you can see your new forwarding address listed under the “Forwarding” section.
Now, whenever you receive an email in Webmail, it will also be forwarded to your other email address automatically!
Accessing Webmail offline
If you need to access your Webmail emails but don’t have an Internet connection, there are a few ways you can do this.
One way is to download the offline Webmail client for your computer. This client will allow you to connect to your Webmail account and access your emails without being connected to the Internet. You’ll just need to enter your username and password when prompted.
Another way to access your Webmail account offline is by using a POP3 client. This type of client will download all of your emails from the server onto your computer, so you can view them even if you’re not connected to the Internet. To set up a POP3 client, you’ll need to know the address of your Webmail server, as well as your username and password. Once you have this information, you can follow the instructions for setting up a POP3 client on your computer.
